The Marines of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade stationed at Camp Leatherneck, Helmand Province, Afghanistan have just under two months left in their deployment. As Marines battle complacency, Ramadan comes to an end and insurgent activity multiplies. Tensions mount in the face of increased IED, rocket & mortar attacks. Yet in spite of this, everyday Marines carry out their missions. What the Marines dont know is that this will turn out to be one of the deadliest months yet for US forces in the eight year long Afghan War. This is the war as seen through their eyes.
