Geraldo slipped easily, back into eight years of defending Clinton, mode.
We, who have been in the military, and we, who are political wonks, know that, the higher the rank, the more political the rank becomes and Pentagon command officers are the Military counterpart of the elected leaders. And that there are instances where they become detached from the military and some become a toady to the President. Then there are the incompetent.
Truth is like the hub of a wagon wheel and everyone is approaching truth, down the perspective of different spokes. Geraldo's viewpoint is, like the rest of the media, biased by his politics and beliefs, but the truth will out.
Our problem is that getting fired is not nearly enough for taking, or not taking, the actions that caused the debacle, yet there will be no punishment or retribution or consequence or anything serious that will happen to them.
