from the video owner : LL User sm86 I found a clip from my own private war archives that I thought you guys might like, or at least some of you :-) This happened 8-9 years ago in Musa Qaleh, Afghanistan. We had been taking small arms fire and RPG fire from a small corner outside the perimeter numerous times, and we decided we had enough of Talibob's bullshit. There were two A-10 Warthogs with enough "playtime" to engage the target. I was the FAC so I called in a 9-liner and the A-10s did their 30mm magic. We never had problems with that corner again.

from the owner: So I may sound heartless in this video when I say "Is it bad that I don't give a fuck about this kid?". Got it, it sounds horrible. However let me try to explain a bit. The kids in this particular village were absolute hellions. They threw rocks at our gunners every time we were in that village. They would cut the RPG netting around our vehicles making it useless. They would hop in to the back of trucks (MATVs have a truck bed in the back) to steal equipment. Our gunners resorted to throwing rocks in return to keep them from throwing rocks, or to keep them off of our vehicles. In this instance, the taliban ambushed us, we returned fire and called in mortars on their positions. The kids in the village were scrambling around our vehicles to collect our expended ammunition. Since they melt the brass down to make other things our expended ammo is almost like currency in most of Afghanistan. While this particular kid was snatching up expended brass, he was struck by a bullet fired by the taliban. Due everything I mentioned above, I did not at the time, and still do not, give one single fuck about that kid. There are plenty of kids over there I gave plenty of fucks about. They were the properly raised, morally sound kids that we'd exchange high fives with, give candy and pens to, and basically treat like any kid we'd treat here in the states.

From the soldier Far ambush on our 14 man element attempting to take Antenna Hill. First camera is the platoon medic, 2nd is from the 10 man element pinned down by the enemy, 3rd is my own camera as my four man section takes the top of the hill to relieve our pinned down element, 4th is our medic's camera again during one of the enemy counter attacks. 4 hour fight compressed into 12 min, starts off quiet but will get better as it goes through the last 3 cameras.
