APACHE CLIPS - A MILITARY MEDIA AND FORUM FEATURING AWESOME VIDEOS AND PICTURES FAQ

Here you can find answers to questions about how the board works. Use the links or search box below to find your way around.

How do I upload stuff?

It's easy! Just go to the Upload tab, select information, and select file from your computer. Make sure you don't go back or change page until you are redirected to the 'successfully uploaded' page. If your media is good enough, we may feature it on the front page!

I uploaded media, but it's not showing up in recently added?

Usually it takes a few hours for your video to get accepted. In the future we will be changing this so that your uploads are instantly verified.

What type of stuff usually gets featured on the front page?

Here are a list of videos we often feature:
1. Head-Cam Combat footage
2. FLIR videos from aircraft
3. Original military videos
4. Videos of combat engagements
5. We rarely feature off topic videos (ie not military related)

What types of this CAN'T I upload? What is against the rules?

You can pretty much upload anything you want to but be advised: Graphic content (such as gore) is allowed as long as it is related to war/conflicts and not 'pointlessly violent'. Also 'execution' videos are allowed as long as it does not involve anyone from the allied forces. Generally 'terrorist propaganda' videos are not allowed (but it is sometimes difficult to know what constitutes as 'terrorist propaganda'.) It is VERY rare for us to take action against members for breaking these rules. If you're not sure if your video is allowed, post it. Worse case scenario is we will just not approve it.
