Teenage trio guilty of torturing woman for three days

Three teenagers have been found guilty of subjecting a young woman with learning difficulties to three days of sadistic physical and sexual torture.
Darren Hodgkinson, 18, and girls Chelsea Mills, 16, and Chelsea Williams, 14, bruised their victim so severely that people thought she was black.
Nail varnish and cream were rubbed into the woman's hair, which was then shaved off along with her eyebrows.

She was stripped and sexually humiliated before being imprisoned in a wardrobe, and Hodgkinson burned her hands and face with a lighter.
The trio, from Southampton, had denied two charges each of causing their victim to engage in sexual activity without her consent and one each of kidnap as well as causing actual bodily harm.
On Friday ringleader Hodgkinson was jailed at Southampton Crown Court for a minimum of four years. Mills was given a two-year detention and training order, and Williams was given an 18-month detention and training order.
Judge Peter Ralls said: 'This poor woman may never recover from the psychological damage. You picked on her because she was odd and for no motivation other than to satisfy some depraved wish to cause harm.'
The judge ruled that the two girls could be identified.

this is so screwed up! no wonder there are so many crimes being committed...beause nothing is being done! they are getting away with murder! this whole country is going mad. I really don't want to live here anymore...maybe it wasn't great back in the 40s and 50s etc but at least people had manners, at least they weren't thugs like they are now!

Detention Training Orders are a joke. The DTO's in prison are controlled by the Youth Justice Board who supply them with Playstaion, X-Box, Mountain Bikes, Plasma TV etc; from their bottomless pit of money. Discipline the exception for DTO's and their accusations are taken above that of an Prison Officer which results in an investigation , which if found to be false, no action against an Inmate.
Smash up their cell and they will just get another and they know the system will do nothing against them. For some inmates this is better than life in their own home as can be shown by the number who re-offend.
The Borstal system was a strict regime but offenders had to earn the priviledge of release and few wanted a second term in Borstal.
But who listens to us the public? The small minority of do gooders who have never even been to a prison far less worked in one have the say for you the public and MP's go along with this!!
