Ya but the military manpower of the two countries are very different.

China - 729,323,673

USA- 144,354,117

So the extra expenses make up for the lack of manpower.

In a land fight it would be a tough battle and there is no telling who would win, but our air force and navy is far superior to china's so with the air and sea controlled it would make it easier for us to fight a land battle.

China would be cheaper still, but they give away at least one bag of Prawn crackers.
It all counts when you have so many people and no matter who wins , no corner shops__:

You are prodding a sleeping giant with a stick. this is serious tacticians equations and projections. There cant be more than a thousand personnel world wide to work this out, carryout a successful outcome and I don't mean just parity especially in the air and theatre. No offence.

I disagree,

Active military China: 2,255,000
Active military USA: 1,385,122

I am not an arm chair warrior but I really think that manpower as such does not make that much of a difference, this is not WW2 anymore.

Correct me if I am wrong
