A prominent American writer said that the U.S. influence in the world decrease and that the times have changed, although some of its allies no longer need it.
In his weekly column published in The Washington Post, journalist Richard Cohen wrote under the title "great power and influence diminished head," says that nothing the president did Barack Obama's latest big difference in the Middle East.
"We used to see American presidents have a vendor as high for no reason other than they are leading the most powerful army in the world."
However, "But we must also recognize that the heads of the dignitaries in terms of their ability to influence events is on the decline."
With regard to Russia, they do not give a damn about the complaints the U.S. is progressing steadily back, not towards European democracy, but about something else entirely as seen Cohen.
In the Pacific there are European Turkey seeking to restore some of the influence that the Ottoman Empire in the region.
May be the path of Turkey also wants to return to the era of the Islamic State have concluded that, perhaps, that centuries of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's secular enough.
Whatever the case may be, there is no more thing America can do about Turkey. Turkey no longer needs the United States after having been its ally in the Cold War, but it blocked their entry into the U.S. Army to Iraq at the beginning of the war.http://www.aljazeera.net/NEWS/KEngine/imgs/top-page.gif
No longer present his influence waning U.S. able to emulate what they were enjoyed by the influence of the Ottoman Empire in the past, Israel has to take caution in the words of the author.
China is beyond the reach of the United States that are more needed in some aspects and not vice versa.

Richard Cohen Military expansion and decline
And conservative Americans look at the failures and frustrations and poured out their anger on Obama and call him a weak and inefficient, which it most certainly is in some respects by the author. However, they are mistaken in believing that another person will make a big difference.
Cohen draws on the conclusion of the British historian Paul Kennedy in his book "The Rise and Fall of Great Powers", which was the latest big buzz when it is published in 1987 that it predicted the demise of the U.S. star.
Kennedy attributed the reasons for this decline to "stretch" the military and the agreement over two problems exacerbated their unit.
The writer goes on to say that America has more of war than they have money, but he believes that is not necessarily fulfilled the prophecies of those Kennedy.
They've been America - as he says - to limit spending, raise taxes, and avoid "wars of choice", and serve the Congress and stop confusing Fame president and de facto authority.http://www.aljazeera.net/NEWS/KEngine/imgs/top-page.gif (http://www.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/40B07244-C74A-4576-8184-58EADC06B49A.htm#)

I think at the moment the US is walking quietly carrying the big stick.
I'm certain in my own mind that the time is approaching, that someone will test the metal of the stalwart of freedom as I understand and believe it. Your views ? ?
