TWO travellers who posed as the IRA to con old folk out of £2million were jailed yesterday.

Dennis McGinley, 30, and wife Bianca, 25, approached people who had already been persuaded to hand over money in business deals with other travellers.
The couple told them that for a small fee, they could get their cash back. But they then terrorised their victims into handing over even more cash.
And if they refused Dennis McGinley said he was in the IRA and they would be kneecapped.
The pair used the money to buy cars including a Porsche 911 and Lamborghini.
The McGinleys told their first victim, a Mr A, that £78,000 he had given to three Irishmen had been used to buy drugs.
The 71-year-old, from Staffordshire, was told that if he gave the McGinleys £250,000 as security, they could get his money back - less a fee - and clear him of involvement in a crime.
He later gave even more cash when he was threatened. Four other victims were also conned.
Dennis McGinley got eight years, and his wife 3½, at Leeds Crown Court. The pair, of no fixed address, admitted conspiracy to defraud. He also admitted blackmail.
