Police: NJ man purposely vomited on Phillies fans

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say he intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands during a Phillies game.

Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Clemmens, of Cherry Hill, N.J., was arraigned Friday on charges stemming from his behavior at Wednesday night's Phillies-Nationals game.

Police say Clemmens made himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his daughter after a companion was kicked out for unruly behavior.

Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo says he saw Clemmens put his fingers down his throat. Philadelphia police say Clemmens also punched Vangelo and vomited on an arresting officer.

Clemmens is in custody on charges including assault and harassment. Bail is $12,000. His listed phone number is disconnected.

This guy needs help and understanding.
We should shove his head up a shitting cows ass, on the hour, every hour for a fortnight.
then take him back to speak to the judge. If ,that does not work, shove your arm down his throat and grab his balls from the inside and pull, turn him inside out, and feed him to the fish.
Yep these guys I find a tad offensive to say the least.

This is why I hold preudices towards people in general from "Noo Joizey". My wife's family is from there, and I can barely stand them.. They're obnoxious too.

Ya, sports fans are usually lunatics no matter what part of the world you are in. I mean isn't it common to see crazy ass riots and people attacking each other with weapons at pretty much every soccer game?

Everywhere else besides the US because our brand of soccer is a joke. I purposely root AGAINST the US in the world cup. Because if we won it, it'd give another justification for the rest of the world to hate us

Oh, my bad. I have seen Philadelphia fans being escorted out of Heinz Field and Mellon Arena so many times over the course of my life, I automatically assumed he was a Philadelphia fan.

Ah yes. There we go, all is right in the sporting world...

PHILADELPHIA -- A 34-year-old man ran onto the field during the Cardinals-Phillies game Tuesday night and was apprehended without incident, a day after a teenager was Tasered in the outfield at Citizens Bank Park.

Security did not use a Taser to stop the latest fan on the field. Police said the man from Warminster was charged with defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and narcotics possession.

The Philadelphia Phillies were leading St. Louis 1-0 in the top of the ninth inning when a guy hopped over the fence in left field and ran along the warning track waving his arms. The sellout crowd booed and he was soon captured.

In Monday night's game, a police officer chased 17-year-old Steve Consalvi for about 30 seconds before the stun gun probe hit the teenager.

City police are considering whether officers should get involved when unruly but nonthreatening fans sprint onto the field during sporting events.

Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey examined video of the arrest and felt the officer acted within department guidelines, which allow officers to use Tasers to arrest fleeing suspects, said police spokesman Lt. Frank Vanore. The department's internal affairs unit is investigating, Vanore said.

The department is now reviewing whether its officers should be on the field wrangling runaway fans who aren't threatening anyone, Vanore said.
