Air Force helicopters fired at two armed Palestinians along the Gaza security fence near the Kissufim crossing. The two were believed to be planting an explosive device against IDF forces in the area. There are no known casualties as a result of the strike.
On Saturday, a mortar bomb fired from Gaza landed in an open area in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council. No injuries or damaged were reported.
Over the last weekend, the IAF successfully struck a weapons manufacturing site in the northern Gaza Strip, a weapons manufacturing site in the central Gaza Strip and two weapons storage facilities in the southern Gaza Strip. Precise hits were identified.
The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm the citizens of the State of Israel and will continue to operate firmly against anyone who uses terror against it. The IDF holds Hamas as solely responsible for maintaining peace and quiet in the Gaza Strip.
