One cycle of the Mayan calendar ends on 2012. This means a new cycle will start and it actually would be celebrated by the Mayans as we celebrate New Years. Leave it to the West for people to corrupt it. If I could bite their faces I would.

From the time were born to the time we die we hear all sorts of crazy, "OMG, the world is gonna end and you'll never have a full life" type of shit. People are taking advantage of all the hype and are making up all sorts of crazy stories about this whole 2012 thing. Well fuck! they even made a movie about it, and all it was was just one big CGI orgasm!

The thing to remember is this: We're not actually in the year 2010 as we know it because the calendar which we currently use has been corrupted numerous times througout history. The Romans, the Pope and others have added or subtracted days to fit the events or internal pressures going on in their heyday.

2012 may have happened 6 years ago. It may have happened 600 years ago. Calendars are like time, they're both speculative and subjective. Really, they're "made up" if anything, just to forward our uderstanding of a span/length of time.
