With growing claims to arctic land and borders, do you think some kind of war or conflict will break out?
Many nations have claims to land in the Arctic, the largest claim being from Russia who decided to plant a flag at the bottom of the ocean. Denmark, Canada, Norway and the United States also have claims to land in the arctic, with China crawling 200 miles away. It seems like every country is trying to make any excuse for land in the arctic, some of them with very childish Russian methods.
What do you guys think of all this commotion for arctic land for oil drilling purposes?
