I couldn't even buy a shotgun here in ireland - found this picture of a revolver - and by good its beautiful.

Well, that sucks, Stark. I always thought that Ireland had far less strict firearms laws than they do here in Scotland. I can own shotguns and rifles here. They banned handguns and semi automatic weapons after the Hungerford massacre in the 80's and the Dunblane massacre inthe 90's.
However, if I wanted to apply for a firearms cert, it would take forever to come though.
