The United States hope to have LeBron James in Turkey
The United States have been drawn in the same group as Iran for the 2010 basketball World Championship.
Also in Group B are Croatia, Brazil, Tunisia and Slovenia. Champions Spain are in Group D with Lithuania, France, Lebanon, Canada and New Zealand.
Greece and Turkey are both in Group C, along with China, Russia, Puerto Rico and Ivory Coast.
Top-ranked side Argentina are in Group A with Serbia, Australia, Jordan, Germany and Angola.
The winners of the event qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.

The way Fiba ranks teams is ridiculous, it's a joke

Great Britain were passed over for a wildcard and must instead play in next summer's 2011 EuroBasket qualifying programme.
World governing body Fiba instead gave the four available wildcards to Russia, Germany, Lithuania and Lebanon.
The tournament will take place in Turkey in August-September of next year.
