Finnish peacekeepers in Afghanistan have again come under fire from insurgents. A joint Finnish-Swedish patrol engaged in an exchange of fire near Mazar-i-Sharif on Saturday.

None of the peacekeepers were wounded in the action in which they returned fire in self-defence.

At the same time a patrol comprised of Swedish peacekeepers and Afghani police were fired upon in the western part of the Finnish-Swedish operations area about 150 kilometres from their main base at Mazar-i-Sharif.

Yep! ghost is right. Finns are peacekeepers. They shoot only for self-defence.
