To active and veteran military members on this board. How do you feel about Obama planing on doing away with the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy?

Well he's said it but given no date when it will take effect. I have mixed feelings on this as I have had an in the closet homosexual save my live, and on the other hand I think they will be a target for beatings by the thugs and there are thugs in the military, yes they will be prosecuted but it will stop more from coming out. So I don't realy know, in the beginning of the thread we did a while ago I was against it and have flip flopped more then a politician.
