A question of curiosity posed in a blog. Is the media paying too much attention to the likes of Michael Jackson over the fallen troops? I haven't spoke of it much but it's a question that constantly pops into my mind.

Hmmmm I never tought about it to tell you the truth. I guess it is a good thing it gives the family some private time to greave.

Well, first of all, fuck celebrities. They don't have shit on these guys.

I think that the news of fallen soldiers should be mentioned, but at the same time it should be subtle. I don't know if they should necessarily single out the soldier/marine/airman/sailor that was killed, but it needs to be known. If you do it too much, then you end up with a lot of anti-war sentiment. But then again, you can't really control how people react to things. So I guess I don't really know.
