I've fortunately never been on the receiving end of any of these rocket batteries. PIRA certainly didn't get hold of any although two blokes own goaled them selves with a Karl Gustaff in Derry (I think, Rossville Flats?) by forgetting the backblast! They fired at a patrol from an old couple's small dining room that they had commandeered. The blackblast splattered the Tangos all over the room.Seems to me to do what those two did was to run someone wounded under the old, 'lightning doesn't strike twice rules'. Those rockets are so bloody random they never fall in the same place twice that I can see.
Thoughts anyone?
