As much as we like to worship them, the report highlights this as pilot error by a pilot who was below average. It also shows up management mistakes because his superior would not fly with him and hsi reports were below average yet he was still allowed to fly an airshow. His back seater managed to eject but too low for the chute to open. A great waste of life.
