I really appreciate seeing the videos uploaded to AC. I'm a former Petty Officer 2nd Class, active duty Navy from '77 to '83. 4 Mediterranean/Indian Ocean deployments with all the other Ops over 4plus yrs on USS Mount Baker AE-34. Also an Airborne Army brat, born and raised on Ft Campbell and Clarksville, Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg back when we got to do a lot more as dependents on Army bases. Anybody remember when kids could shoot M60's during Armed Forces Day? Napalm/Foogas demonstrations, Riggers would make you a custom knife scabbard right there. Dad was a Huey crew chief for awhile, would taxi us around the pad outside the hanger back when I was little and terrified of it.
