TV Antenna Question

TV Antenna Question;

I'm looking to reduce the expense of what I now have;
cable for the TV, because the same company provides the
High Speed Internet connection I need to look at porn fast.
No, the computer is used for work, I trade Options,
and a good fast connection is a necessity.

As things are, I pay for the 'Basic Package' and my
relatively new HDTV can find the 'Big Four channels so I
can watch Dancing With The Stars, Castle, Ichabod Crane,
Junior Chef and Football in High Definition.

Like you, I chafe at paying for programming I never watch,
no matter how scantily the senoritas dress.

So, here is what I want to do; get an antenna.
Inside is out. The aluminum siding means no pesky radio
waves invade my domicile, so I can't use any indoor antenna.
But the other problem is that I'm not allowed to use an outside
antenna, which is weird since there are satellite dishes all over
the neighborhood.

I've come up with a possible solution; an omnidirectional
HDTV antenna, which at a glance looks like a dish.

I'll appreciate suggestions on mounting, types and
performance and such if you have expertise and experience
in same.

I can't help you out at all. The last time I messed with a TV antenna you had to walk to the TV to change channels and had to decide between UHF or VHF.
I haven't turned on my TV since February. I was going a couple weeks ago , but I couldn't find the remote.
My old favorite channels thing " reality" shows are quality tv now. :angry:

TV antenna hum I hope you don't live next to any air force, base navy base or any military base In Jacksonville the locals complain when the navy is doing practice operations IE when carriers and subs are in the area Why? Because of Jammers Every time there is a carrier in the area and we do see them Hornet version and AE8 version a converted intruder also know as Wild weasel They do have jammers and there are problems all day it will jam the signal. It will give you a picture then the tv will stay on the channel and come up with this message Looking for signal and it comes back about 30 seconds later
As far a antenna hd disk MY barber has one and he picks up a lot of channels you will have to see a list of channels in your area that still broadcast over a digital signal I hope this help but as far as the shows you want to watch those channels have to broadcast the signal
PS there is something new out its called Rabbit tv it claims 5000 channels from your computer I dont know if it broadcast to your tv but you could link your computer to your tv to https://www.rabbittv.com/?ref=TLB-BING-RN-TM

I use one of the old fashion ones Shatto. Got it mounted on my roof,which I see you can't do. Don't know if your in a house or an apartment,but if your in a house you could just put it in the attic space.
