It's a cop out for someone with low self esteem or lazy. Once you give up on yourself it gets easier and easier to do .Eventually it becomes a way of life. It's easier to blame someone else .
I also believe attitudes like that started at home. Parents should do everything they can yo encourage their children to follow their dreams and not simply settle. Only their talent and intellect should hold them back.
