Way too small explosions for any mortar round, even for a hand grenade. Probably 40mm grenades fired from a GP-25 under barrel grenade launchers. You can even hear a small pop similiar to american GL sound before the first explosion. Also you can see a small smoke pummel coming over the road behind the tree just before the first explosion.
