I'd say he hit em. Keep in mind a M16 fires a 5.56 round, which is rather small. The round is also meant to maim as much as it is to kill. There is a very strong reason that the phrase, "Two in the chest, one in the head". It ensures that you kill your target, if you commit to a full auto blast, as in the video, you will tear your opponent up and they will die. It may not be right away, but they will die from the diagnostics of the round fired.
Up front and up close, one of the better CQB footage I have seen. Thanks for the upload gunzo!

I am sure 100% that he didn't hit anybody for two reasons. The first being every time the gun fired it was NOT lined up with the guy. The second is you do not walk much less run away from a 5.56. The projectile carries at that rang 1100ft/lbs of energy. Full auto works well as suppressive fire like the saw. But in that situation semi auto is much more effective. Have you ever shot at something so close you couldn't miss and you didn't aim and guess what.

Old vietnam era M-16 I know i had them when i was in.
Keep them clean and they will fire for ever. That weapon is one prime example, if your weapon gets dirty you are fuck in combat.
I never had a jam on mine. My DI's which where all vietnam vets told me main thing, keep the bolt and the gas tube clean and that weapon in combat will be your best buddy, If you dont have the time to do a full cleaning make sure you clean them parts frist
The balistics on this weapon is after so many meters the bullets starts to tumble giving the saw blade effect, up close like that it will bounce off bones shatter and shred a good amount of organs
Did you all think it was because of the wieght and range that they deployed this weapon shit no, it was the damage it inflicted
If they wanted range they would have kept the M-14
