They need to work on their sectors of fire, no sense in aiming at the rear/side of your buddies tank repeatedly. Also how many fucking tanks does Syria have?

Yes, its been in use since the late 50's and is utilized by both Eastern bloc, and Western bloc armor. Fuel is squirted onto the hot exaust pipe to produce smoke. Not sure if the M1 has the ability but Leopard 2 and Challenger 2 do. This method of producing smoke was a relative late comer to Western design.

Thanks Mr Claudius I've seen this in several videos just like those aerobatic stunt planes with the smoker.
