Was that incoming small arms that hit the berm in front of these guys or just muzzle blast before they ducked down? No helmets must mean no field grade article 15's for not wearing them. You're nutz.

That was just the muzzle pressure. But in 2011, the Chak-e Valley was pretty Wild West. Uniform SOP and CJTF Policy was out the window on the first day of the offensive. Luckily nobody on the Operation went belly up due to lack of PPE.
