In the early 1920s no expert could have told you that the greatest industrial corporation in the world, the Ford Motor Company, would be overtaken by a then-anemic and almost bankrupt General Motors.
Today a company destroyed by the Second World War, Toyota, dominates.
Would this have happened if the Government directed things, like the Obama administration now does?
