Mushroom Cloud in Damascus Syria

Israel has confirmed involvement in these strikes, stating that they were targeting a shipment of advanced missiles bound for Hezbollah in Lebanon. An Israeli official has said; "Israel is determined to prevent the transfer of chemical weapons or other game-changing weaponry by the Syrian regime to terrorists, especially to Hezbollah in Lebanon." Hezbollah are claiming that an Israeli jet has been shot down during this attack, although that is unconfined at this time. The is a lot of speculation that Syrian may declare war on Israel in response to this strike. (Update) Despite some speculation this explosion is NOT a nuclear explosion.
