One of these drills involved B2 bombers, which took off from Missouri, flew to Korea, dropped dummy ammunition on a South Korean range, and returned. The bombers did not land in korea, they made a 6,500 miles round trip without stopping.http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube/images/play_thread.png (http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube_show.php?tubeid=3148)

Hehe smart move. Show North-Korea you can get real close with planes able to carry a nuclear payload. Must have been a long flight :o

Anyone else find it strange that there are three fighter jets on the left of the screen but only two on the right?

Only five to a group there petawhan Pointer and 4 bombers in the fighter role if there was a sixth it would it would be the B-2
In a CAP role the fifth would be a observer flying high and directing the engagements Well I think that is how it goes :D

Nice timely show of force.

Its all just more of the same. NK severs ties, rattles chain, west gets edgy after a while and says lets go back to the table, NK starts negotiations, calls off state of war in return for aid.

If I remember the cease fire with north korea is the longest in history, and I hope when it finally ends it doesn't result from a B2 type bomber dropping anything like what it was made to drop. That would be a bad day for all
