Some pics from the Avalon Airsho on the weekend, the F22 flying for the first time at a public airshow in OZ. Some F16s and C 17 and a tanker too. Seems we got in just before the budget cuts, seems your entire military is fucked financially, what the fuck is going om up there with the cash register?

What's a chopper cost down there? A guy at work does chopper flights up here, I think its around 200 a go, over the harbour.

Benda, Airshow special $70 for about 9 minutes. First time we powered up then had to abort and hold for the Roulettes, first time I wanted those bastards to finish early, had to wait 20. Im sure it was $50 last time. Iy is obvious that pilots are cranking up their hours as its all pretty rushed, so I assume it is run at pretty much cost price. Considering a normal 20 minute joyflight is about $150 minimum from a very busy company.
