I dont know about that. When You get going that fast, sometimes You got to slow down fast & down shifting dosent always do the trick especially on a road coarse...

Stayn on the gas untill the last possible second is what gets You out front. Those rotors are made to heat up like that for that very reason.

Yeah I know....Just have'n a little fun. :D
But unless your trying to out break someone,A smoother entry lets you roll through and get up off the corner better.

But You are absolutly right Mel, a smoother entry is by far the best way to get better exit off Your corner, especialy on asphalt. I grew up racing 1/4 midgets, then midgets, but dirt tracking heavy on the gas untill the last second, then its heavy on the gas again, not to much braken. We ran a sprint car for a few years but basicly couldent afford to stay competitive. Iam not sure why, but Were building a new car now. Iam just hoping Ill hit the lottery, that way We can afford to race it. Ill tell You, there aint nothing funner Here is one of My buddies at Our local track in Marysville, Calif. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxH-DlUyL00
