http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube/upload/thumb/573_66124.jpg (http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube_show.php?tubeid=2028) This is a *VERY GRAPHIC* 3 part clip showing a landmine blast that seriously wounds an ANA Soldier in Afgahanistan and how the U.S. Troops & Medivac team responds. I wouldn't usually make such a post of Allies getting injured but I believe these clips show the Bravery & Professionalism of the U.S Troops & also how their training instantly kicks in & they deal with the situation. Myself being just a humble Civvy (atm)... I'm in awe & have the utmost respect of how the U.S Troops just get on & deal with such a situation. Hope the poor guy survived...http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube/images/play_thread.png (http://www.apacheclips.com/boards/vbtube_show.php?tubeid=2028)

I remember this one. He had good help around him that is for sure. Didn't they check it or something? Kinda looks like an obvious place for an IED/Mine.

The helmetcam guy and the other medic were an absolute credit to the US armed forces.
Let's hope the guy made it, although I fear life as an amputee in Afghanistan will be a lot harder than in the west.

What's the matter, Achmed? Did you Taliban brother Najibullah not tell you the correct grid coordinates of where he planted the IED, so you could guide your American allies towards it?

Pity.

This is an old vid, It was used in my training at the beginning and end so we could see what the medic did wrong before knowing our MOS and after we were almost qualified, It wasn't his fault either, at that level of stress it's hard to think straight, still I think he survived... I love being a combat medic though
