From my monthly VFW magazine:

Top 10 Donors to the Education Center at the Wall (Vietnam memorial)

Donor Amount

Time Warner Corp. 10,000,000
Government Australia 3,300,000
Heisley Family Foundation 2,500,000
Conoco Phillips Corp. 2,000,000
TriWest Healthcare Alliance 1,000,000
Lockheed Martin Corp. 1,000,000
The Boeing Company Corp. 1,000,000
Peter Holt/Holt Companies 1,000,000
Fed Ex Corp. 700,000
Veterans of Foreign Wars 650,000

My bad THANK YOU Australia!! This caught me off guard and made me shit in my mouth. I can not find any kind of record of the US government putting forth any money for this. Someone please tell me I am wrong, please tell me that one of the largest contributors to a memorial of those who served during a time where their service was looked down upon and forgotten by many is not true. If another countries government is number two on a list of donors I am sick to my corp with our government. At the same time, my hat is off to you Aussies, and thanks to you!
