Nice commercial - it looks like Hollywood helped them set up the bomming runs? If you go through all the trouble of getting a figther in the air and lining up cars in the desert - why not use live fire? I didnt become a pilot to watch petrol burn.....!..

Operation Red Flag is not a commercial, its a movie with a very simple and kinda retarded story but with a lot of cool flying action.

What do you mean "kinda retarded story"? It's a documentary on Red Flag (today's Top Gun). It details their training and displays how pilots who have not been in combat can gain combat hours without actually being killed. It's very interesting and full of amazing footage (best seen in Imax).
There is some fake crap in this video that I don't recall seeing in the actual documentary. If memory serves correct there are no rounds fired, it's all electrical signals indicating hits and/or misses.

I call shenanigans on the bomb blasts around the vehicles.... bombs and 20mm would cause decimation of those vehicles... while all you are seeing is flames engulfing the vehicles... I would say probably caused by gasoline being set off beneath them.

I have seen many documentaries on red flag ,the last day of the operation is live fire except Cap (Combat air patrol) jets its all lazer and radar signals in the dog fights. This here yes, Hollywood helped with the effects and some of it is edited in.
There are pryro effects on these targets petrol blast packs, and in this vid is not even part of that excersise some of it was edited in The last day , the bombs they drop are real on the last day. They only do it on the last day, because of the cost of the operation. It would take to many cameras and drive the cost up of the exercise, If they really where to film the real bomb drops of the day. A-10 shots are probally the real one because they are only shooting the beast Gau 8 If you look to the left of the targets you can see the effect packs
