I could sit here and pick this guy apart quite easily. He must be gaining something from going this route. There is no other explanation.

I'm quite sure this "GOP Senator" is trying his best to kiss Obama's ass.

This is the most true statement I have heard this election year, and why I could never vote for the Republican party running for office this year. The same thing is true for the Democratic party that is running this year.

"This decision is not easy for any lifelong Republican. In 2008 I voted for Barack Obama, the first time I ever voted for a Democrat, because the Republican Party was drifting toward a dangerous path that put extreme party ideology above national interest. "

have you looked at all the interviews with major GOP players talking about Romney?
they are well aware of Romney's biggest problems
#1 he used to be center-left
#2 hes a multimillionaire who cannot connect to the common man
#3 hes Mormon

Republican Douglas Gross talks about bringing up these points to Romney when he was running in 2008, and how romney and his wife reacted to the questioning.

Did you even read the whole thing? Mr. Gross decided to JOIN Romney's campaign in 2008 and work for the man. He also obviously believes that Romney is the man for the job in the next election.

I'd rather have a man as POTUS whose religion is deeply rooted in America's core beliefs. Hard work, keep what you earn, help those who are less fortunate by your OWN decision, stay true to your family, etc.

I cannot even begin to fathom the complexities surrounding Obama's religion. I personally believe the man is Muslim. I am further pressed to that belief by his choice of a "Church" and "Pastor" prior to his 2008 election run. NO POTUS IN HISTORY has had such an "American way of life" hating background. Even Jimmy Carter loves America. He's a complete and total idiot in his political beliefs, IMHO, but he does love his country. Which only makes Obama and his gorilla...er...wife, that much worse.
