All U.S. attack helicopters can fire the 2.75 FFAR. Flechette rounds are still used. Should be used more often on these single man targets instead of Hellfires.

I agree with HooterBro. A Hellfire missile is way more expensive as a 2.75 FFAR but Hellfires are used to prevent collateral damage. In towns for example.

I think this is a M255A1 2.75" rocket. Taken from 2010 Weapons File:

"The M255A1 flechette warhead is primarily for antipersonnel operations. This warhead contains 1,179 sixty-grain hardened steel flechettes and uses the M439 Remote Set fuze. A full material release has been issued for use by Army Aviation units effective July 2006."
