Read Durant's book... he tells all... some of which is very shocking. Such a tragic battle that didn't need to happen (if you read Seal Team Six by Howard E. Wasdin).

I didn't get to go on this mission because my wife was having difficulties in her pregnancy. My son ended up staying in there full term, but it was a very close thing.

Tommy Franks and Bill Cleveland were both friends of mine. I knew everyone on those Blackhawks and had worked with them at one time or another. We were all in Company Formation when Mr. Durant was flown back into Fort Campbell and Lee Greenwood was there to personally sing his iconic "God Bless the U.S.A." for his home coming. I had been in the unit for a little over a year at that point and had no idea I would be there for the next 7. Man, that seems so long ago yet also, just like yesterday.

Unfortunately we in australia have been getting boat loads of these somali here as refugees.....refugees my arse...criminals on the run more like!
