I think France is one of the few NATO countries that still use rifle-grenades. In addition they still have the normal 40mm tubes as well, but I think it's always good to have variety :) Pretty cool video, thanks for sharing.

in terms of boom t is way above the 40mm grenade, but it is a kicker and demands a bot of training to master.

I was surprised at the range in that last shot. I've always wondered why the U.S. didn't get something like this into the inventory for the current wars. It beats the hell out of hanging another few pounds under your M4.

Fired both types before. The first 1 is a dedicated anti light armor grenade. Its 57mm with an effective range of 100m. It is launched using the bullet trap system. I regular 5.56mm round is fired and the energy imparted by the bullet propels the grenade. The last 1 is called AP/AV 40 and is launched using a blank round on steroids. It has a max effective range of 300m.
