Really great footage. But arrrghh, the music! It's not enough to watch amazing footage?

I'm not sure the return fire (by small arms) is going to do much good, unless they feel the spotter is really close and just outside the perimeter. A pair of binoculars up on the mountain in the backdrop would be sufficient enough, but I guess we are fighting cave monkey's who are THAT stupid...

Hopefully the counter-battery gets some of them...

With proper plotting you don't need an FO, but well, we know they don't have that there in A-Stan which is a good thing. You can tell by them walking the shots in from the start. Direct fire vs. indirect with terrain involved? Indirect will win every time.

on the top of the screen center is that outgoing counter fire or is that them I seen some incoming but it was right of what the tracers where firing at

Are you talking about the part at about 0:51? That looks more like somebody was shooting at something and tore up the road with some low rounds. If that are that close trying to engage with a mortar system they are just plain stupid. Even our 60MM mortar had a range of about 3.4k and change, why get close enough to be shot at by a MG just to lob a Charge 0 at your enemy?

Damn you are right. Surprised they didn't want to increase their odds of a hit though and set up shop 10 yards away from the wire. They could increase their rate of fire by throwing the rounds over the wall by hand. Dumb asses!
