There's a brief clip there of the Battle of the Tennis Court at Kohima in India. My dad was RAF and passed through shortly after the siege of Kohima was lifted.
The memorial there reads,
"When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today"

Gave me goose bumps. The footage of the heavies bombing and the impacts filmed from the planes always gives me a chubby lol

It's amazing how much time changes. The World was at the brink of destruction back then.
Germany was the ruthless enemy that needed to be stopped, and today they are a very cooperative and competent ally that fights side by side with us.
Now I can't help but feel that the threat to our freedom is just as great with that of the Islamic Extremists. The problem is that they are not an Army of one Nation, and in a sense, because of this they are more dangerous. Further to that, not all German fighters believed in the "Superior Race", where as the Extremists of today all believe and are willing to give their life even if it means killing only one "Infidel".
