Wow, they got fucked up pretty bad there, I hope they at least felt a little pain first.
I wonder if the driver's cabin in that truck is armored, doesn't look like it. Shitty job to be driving that if it isn't, heh.

The cabin on that Ural is def up-armored to the same standard as the back end of it. Mostly good for stopping small-arms, and explosive fragments, even offers better protection from IEDs.
Why do you think they would make an up-armored rear-fighting compartment, and not even protect the driver? That would be asinine.
