Personally, and these are my own opinions, the most threatening issue to the United States citizen are todays political parties. If you vote Repube or Democrap you are wrong. There is no instance from either party over the past 10 years, other than the patriot act and a few NDAA agreements, that represent any kind of compromise or actual United States values.

Each party is so radicalized that there is no middle ground anymore, and that is so far from the orgins of the United States. You can no longer vote for a person, you vote for a party.

Vote Romeny if you want, vote Obama if you want. Either way I would say you are unamerican, that is the only time I will use to word "american" we are not americans we are part of a United States. MAJOR political reform needs to happen soon, and if it doesn't prepare for things to get much worse, as all politicians that are democrat or republican serve to better their party not to better the United States citizens.


If you vote for one of them you are voting for the other side, they are all EXACTLY the same.

I am not saying Romney is going to be Washington or Reagan when he gets elected but if he fails to repeal many of the previous four years and that includes certain provisions of the Patriot Act and NDAA he will likely be in office for our second civil war. The national debt is a requirement in his first term. If there is no action from him and our congress and senate then they will be on the battle field with everyone else. No safe haven for the elected.

I have gazz, and Thomas Jefferson along with Benjamin Franklin were GREAT United States citizens. They understood the value of a free market, and free trade they also understood that a government should be seperate from religion. Keep in mind that Mr. Jefferson owned a Koran himself, and studied Islam to understand a religion which will forever be a part of the United States ( and also to better his knowledge of those he would have to work with in the future to guarentee the most sacred of human rights, freedom of religion).

This is something that has bothered me, the use of the word god in anything related to the government. See the founding fathers believed very strongly in the seperation of church and state, and the modern republican believes that christian doctraine should be involved in the governing of its people (ie Rick Santorum). When religion, or even the constant mention of god, is involved in the governing of a people you no longer have freedom of religion which is what this country was founded upon. It has bothered me that so many pieces of United States history have been changed to incorporate god into the wording, when the original did not have the word god in it. This is my main issue with the republican party, there are still plenty of others. I do value their idea of complete free market, just not as extreme as they do. Plus a flat tax is what this nation needs but they would never agree to that.

The democrats, have go so far socialist it isn't even funny anymore. There is a roll for government in peoples lives, if you let wild dogs run amuck with an economy you will see a nation fall apart, but they take it to far. Their ideal of government run enterprises, health care, and welfare is far to extreme for me. There is a place for all of that, just not nearly as extreme as they want it to be. I do agree with their secular values, and that is why I lean more left than right but still in the middle. Also cutting defense spending? How does that make any sense? Reform the requirements for production and testing of military equipment, eliminate the waste the military creates, and look at what you will have. Same budget with a much larger, well equiped force and guess what that means more jobs for more people.

The fact that each party is so far apart is just so damn appauling to me, and going to ruin this country. I do think that Romney is more dangerous than Obama, I also don't think that the federal budget will decrease once Romney takes office and starts a war with either Iran or North Korea.
