at the age of 7 at christmas i got a model making F14 (scale 1:72) from my parents.
a few days after christmas the model was built on. At that day i felt in love with this airplane.

Most beautiful jet ever built! :)

Yes! That is one sexy bird of prey. Any Air vets out there? I have a question, now that they have retired the F-14, do the pilots have the opportunity to cross over and train on another jet or do they just get washed out? - Thanks for the video serpa

Anytime baby! I grew up wanting to fly these bad boys but ended up in the Army after they were retired. Go figure.

The tomcat captured my heart when I was just a boy. I've built countless models of it and still hold it as one of my favorites of all time. My brother has built some awesome models of great airplanes come to think of it. Museum quality. Maybe ill post some pics soon.

"It's the bottom of the 9th, the score is tied. It's time for the big one.
You up for this one, Maverick?
Just a walk in the park, Kazansky."

A great video, to answer a few of the questions below. I know a lot of Ex F-14 dudes now flying the Super Hornet/Hornet. The general feeling from them after many drunken chats. Is the Tomcat was a pig, they had to constantly trim the jet to get it to fly and the gap between the engines also made flying it hard work. All very sentimental stuff, the film made the jet.
