It's from Crimea. Thanks to techitch from ogrishforum - he found the better quality video and info. Seems like a lot of video sites got fooled by this one.

In the vid here sounds like a splat or a snap of the rope at the end

Thanks MIR, I just clicked the related media link to watch the video and couldn't bring my lazy ass to view page 2 of the comment thread. LOL Still think it's a stupid idea to bungee jump off a cliff...Too many jagged edges to snap the cord, or maybe even slamming into the side of the mountain, all around crazy dumb.

Is it me, or are all the vids on AC that are viewed as "stupid ideas" Russian. I know we have some Russian friends here and I'm not trying to pick a fight, i'm just seeing an AC trend lol.
As for this video... why on earth would you bungee jump from a cliff? You're asking to hit the wall on the way back up.
