Guys, I'll tell you, one wheel landings on a ridge-line at high altitude is one hell of a hard maneuver for ANY helicopter pilot. If it's hot out, it makes it even more difficult. Much respect to these crews and Soldiers for what they do. Takes a shitload of skill and balls to put a Blackhawk down like that. The crew really knows how absolutely finite your life is when doing it.

Excellence, both the find and the flying. I miss flying in a 60 (mainly because it meant I didn't have to walk or be trucked in a duece and a half, but there really isn't any feeling quite like flying at night in a helicopter in formation low on the deck. Not saying for a second that I was part of this group here. Just an airborne grunt.
