did they really take the base eventually??? I know one of the guys that made this film lost his life trying to cover the fighting in Libya I think? maybe Syria anyway god bless DOC RESTREPO n the other brave men who lost their lives in those mountains.

After Restrepo another documentary Tip of the spear with embeded journalist Richard Engel was at Restrepo and I believe that was the last in depth reporting done there but I am not 100% on that. Anyone else know of any other reporting on or at Restrepo?
