The clots have already formed at the top layer of his thighs Just a matter of time before infection. If it has not already started to set in

That left foot is toast, and will get removed, the other foot needs major debridement, and the upper legs will need incisions cut into them so compartment syndrome doesn't set in along with allowing removal of clotting. Any infection will need hitting hard with anti-biotics and cleaning and debriding every day. This dude is on a world of pain for a long time to come.

A very very common result of landmine explosions is castration and severe and permanent damage to the penis, and usually amputation of it. Even in IED blasts in Iraq when the occupants were sitting in armored HUMVEEs, there is significant risk of loosing your man parts, so much so that Kevlar underwear was developed and worn by many of our GI’s later on in the war.
