One thing that i don't like about Javelin, is the price of 1 rocket.

40.000 $ is an expensive hobby to destroy a 200 $ IED.

Agreed Bigfoot13, that was well worth it! I get what you mean MadeInRu some times you see a vid where a less expensive weapon could possibly do the trick but at the same time every weapon has its own effect not only on the intended target but after effects as well.

A $200 IED can costs millions if it kills and maims our boys.

It can ruin lives, not only of those injured horribly, but of their fathers, mothers, sons and daughters.

A friend of mine is still in hospital in London battling wounds he got three years ago. Care to put a price on that?

Someone may be able to put a price on death and injury of our forces, I can't. But I can assure you it would be a whole lot more than 40,000 bucks.

No need to go over the top here. No life and death but rather more cheaper solutions. USA has plenty of different guided rockets with lover price point.

I'm not gonna be putting price tag on any one, i also have friends in not so special places. That "I feel offended" stuff you can safe for yourself.

Javelin is also a direct guided system, in other words you need to see your enemy.

Older systems will do just as fine.

Yeah they're expensive as hell. Also looks like they're cool as shit to pop off. Look at it this way, Hadjis are dead, IED munitions are mellow. Sounds like two birds with one stone to me.
