There are a couple videos in the link, here's the articles. Also I find it interesting that the military could not take the battery back by force, instead they just destroy it. Even if they are older weapons systems they're still worth more intact and operable rather than blown up.

Syrian Government Forced to Bomb its Own SAM Sites

So the Syrian rebels recently took over a battery of what appear to be Soviet-made Vietnam war-era SA-2 Guideline surface to air missile. The rebels got their hands on the SAM site after members of the Syrian army’s 743d air defense battalion defected to their cause. However, government forces soon bombed their own air defense site to prevent any missile systems from falling into rebel hands. Yes, the Syrian government is being forced to conduct air strikes against its own air defense facilities.

Click through the jump for a video of the missiles and another that apparently shows the aftermath of government air strikes on the site.

and what about the jihadist group(s) in Syria?.....

an article from yesterday:

The Al Nusrah Front for the People of the Levant, a jihadist group in Syria linked to al Qaeda, has claimed credit for a complex suicide attack and ambush that targeted the Syrian military at a camp in Idlib.
The terror group released a statement today claiming credit for the June 1 suicide attack that targeted the "the brutal Nusayri enemy," a reference to Syria's Alawites, the Shia sect that makes up much of Syria's leadership. The Al Nusrah statement, which was obtained and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group, said the suicide attack was designed to avenge the Houla massacre (http://www.longwarjournal.org/threat-matrix/archives/2012/05/massacre_in_syria_kills_90_inc.php), in which 90 Syrians, including 32 children, were killed. In today's statement, Al Nusrah also claimed credit for a host of other operations, including ambushes and IED attacks.
Al Nusrah described the suicide attack as a "special martyrdom-operation" and claimed it was carried out after conducting "reconnaissance of the camp site and studying it well."

These "peace loving freedom fighters" are no better than the subhumans who attacked us on September 11th.

Send in our troops?

Waste my tax dollars?

Screw that. If they want to kill each other by the thousands, I'll bring the steaks and beers.

Let the Arab League and the UN handle these situations. The "almighty community organizer" has enough on his plate.

Al-Nusra is not 'linked' with Al-Qaeda they are just a Jihadi group.

The linking with Al-qaeda was just something taken out of context, US intelligence agencies thought Al-Qaeda in Iraq was responsible for some Suicide bombing attacks in Aleppo and Damascus but the Al-nusra front later took responsibility for the attacks they are a group that originated out of Homs allegedly. News agencys just seen Al-qaeda and then Al-nusra taking responsibility and decided to claim they were linked.
