45acp for me it is the ideal size. I can load 16 rounds on my FNP45. 15 in mag one in chamber. That is a lot of hurt in a handgun. Not bad recoil either so its controllable. Some will say 9mm for better control but the one shot stopping power is questionable in 9mm. Would like to know what caliber that cop shot that Miami Zombie with as it took him more than one shot to down that beast.

I bet you 9mm - plus he shot him not in the head but upper torso of course he had to worry about exit rounds hitting the victim as well .

Sounds heavy as hell too. :) I have my colt 1991A1 in .45 for one carry gun, 7rds, plus 2 extra mags use that while hunting and around the local area. Then my Springfield XD subcompact 9mm for when I go to larger cities, 2 extended mags as reloads and the reg mag for original carry leaves me 47 rounds all in hollow point. So I swing both ways just depends on who I'm around.

Depends on who shot him. The city of Miami carries .40 Cal but miami-dade carries 9 mm.
On duty I carry a sig 229 in. 40 but off duty I carry all three it really depends on what I'm wearing...but if its a 9 mm it has to be a 115 grain +P ( 1275fps) DPX .screw that 147 grain. Its a piece of shit.
In 40 I carry 140 grain and in 45 I carry 160 grain...both are extremely effective and cuts down on over penetration.

Goinloco, so I'd take it you got your Uzi back and it is in working order?

Lol... that comic there was meant for the glock fanclub. The Glocks were blowing up. But anyways... I have my SIG P220 in .45 for my winter carry gun and I carry my LCR in .38 special other times. I prefer the 45 but since my 40 s&w is hot loaded slightly, its a toss up.

Lol, I didn't really get the comic to begin with, I am not a glock fan in the slightest so I see anything attributed to it and I don't pay attention. Thanks for the heads up KGCNC.

Yep, got it back. After some polishing, grinding, new ejector, and new top, it ran 150 rounds flawless. I didnt think it could group that well at 100 being a 9mm.

And glocks suck. Never liked their feel or anything else.
